Image processing

The current builder processes selected files locally in your browser. Ordinary editing does not upload images or descriptions. The optional AI action described below does transmit data when you choose Generate after its disclosure. Source images remain in the current tab until replaced or the page is closed. Imported images are reduced to at most 512 pixels per side for editing. Normal webpage requests reach the hosting service, which may process request information such as IP addresses, browser details and timestamps.

Local saves

Only choosing Save project or Save a copy stores artwork persistently. Up to eight projects are stored in localStorage, subject to browser limits. Saves include project name, canvas size, background color, template choices, palettes, layer transformations, reduced imported PNG image data, a local save ID and update time. These images can reveal the subject of your original photo. They are not linked to an IP address and do not sync between devices or site domains.

Anyone with access to the same browser profile can reopen saved projects. My projects lets you delete individual saves or all Salty404 saves. Clearing browser data can remove them. Downloaded files remain wherever you store them and are not deleted by the site.

Optional AI and operational records

AI starts paused and is restricted to the owner pilot. When enabled, the notice next to Generate explains what will be sent. Clicking Generate sends your description and, for an edit, a reduced flattened canvas image through our server to OpenRouter and the chosen model provider. Their processing and retention policies apply. Our server does not persist these prompts, input images or returned images. Add and save a result locally if you want to keep it.

The server stores a pseudonymous hash of the signed-in user ID, UTC day, request ID, selected model and provider, status, latency, reserved and reported costs, and configuration audits to enforce allowances and investigate failures. The owner identity is stored for admin authorization. Generation metadata is retained for the duration of the pilot and until charges are reconciled; it is not an advertising profile. No third-party analytics, ads, tracking pixels or payments are active. The optional contact form collects only the information you choose to send, including an optional reply email. Hosting services may retain normal request logs. Art briefs prepared without Generate remain local.

Contact

Use the questions and feedback form to send a question, request or bug report. It stores your chosen category, name and reply email if supplied, subject, message, optional page path, reference ID, status and submission time in a protected owner inbox. Messages are not public, are not sent to an AI model, and are not used for marketing. No attachments are accepted. Avoid passwords or sensitive personal information.

To limit spam, the server temporarily uses a network address to derive a daily-changing hash; raw IP addresses are not stored in the message database. The service limits submissions by this daily hash and by total daily volume. Messages are eligible for deletion after 90 days and are purged on the next submission or owner inbox visit. The owner can delete them sooner. To request deletion, submit your message reference through the form. Replies, if any, use the email address you supply; response times are not guaranteed.
